At Kit Stone we harness the natural qualities of teak ‘tectona grandis’ to design our premier dining range.
The natural richness of oleoresin in teak, unlike other common hardwoods, repels the detrimental effects of the weather and prevents warping, splitting and cracking. This natural oil also precludes the need for manufactured oils or varnish and leads to teak’s overriding suitability for long-term outdoor use.

Harvested from Government controlled plantations, we only utilise the highest-grade timber, indicated by its rich dark colour. Freshly sawn teak has a beautiful and uniquely varied colour of grain, which, if untreated, mellows to an attractive silver grey.

• We utilise only mature teak with intricate grain, no knots and no veneers.
• Our craftsmen use only Mortice and Tenon joints with dowel fixings for strength and longevity.
• Our folding pieces have only stainless steel or solid brass fittings to last the lifetime of your furniture with no rust guaranteed.
• All tables have parasol fittings and plugs.
• All timber is kiln dried to 8-12% moisture.
