If you are driving a long distance to get to us it is sensible to book an appointment, just in case our staff are engaged in a kitchen planning meeting with another customer. On very rare occasions they may also have had to leave the showroom for short periods of time.
We are situated next to the Wellington farm shop in a beautiful parkland setting on the Duke of Wellington’s Stratfield Saye estate in the heart of the home counties. We occupy a converted barn adjacent to the highly acclaimed coffee shop with stunning views, ample parking and easy access off the A33.
With in excess of 2000 square feet of light and airy showroom space we are able to show off a great many pieces from all of our ranges. Beautifully merchandised and set off by the classical travertine limestone flags the space is laid out as a collection of room sets, enhancing the visual impact. As well as all the furniture displayed on this website the showroom also sells a wide collection of home accessories. With distinctive design style and flair a collection has been assembled from all over Europe including table ware, place settings, glass ware, household linens, lamps, vases and accessories.
The walls display an amazing collection of original paintings by acclaimed artists Mourne Mackay-Lewis and Flora and Susan Blackett. Mourne specialises in capturing animals in their raw natural environment, regularly painting from the top of a land rover in remote corners of Africa and Asia. Flora Blackett is a highly acclaimed portrait painter, with Royalty, heads of industry and the armed services amongst her commissions. Susan Blackett specialises in capturing the moment in still life.
The Wellington farm shop is superbly well stocked with local produce from the estate and surrounding area. The meat is correctly hung and skilfully butchered, fruit and vegetables seasonally sourced, delicious ready made meals are created on the premises, and all is served by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Whilst visiting us they are well worth a visit and a good place to re-charge your batteries in their coffee shop.
Superbly accessible from the M4 junction 11 or the M3 junctions 5 or 6, the showroom is 50 metres off the main A33 Reading to Basingstoke road, from which the Wellington farm shop is well signposted. Other local attractions include the Wellington Country Park, Wellington Riding and Stratfield Saye house (on certain holidays).
