These overlaps also make it possible to fine adjust the overall length of a run of cabinets by setting flush or recessed. In addition to this they can be scribed away to allow an exact fit into an uneven wall, making your fit even easier.
Each of our floor cabinets is supplied with joining battens to ensure a secure and snug fit whether you are setting them offset or adjacent. Once set in place, for extra rigidity, you should place a screw through the top of the cheek of the first unit, all the way through the joining batten into the side cheek of the second unit.
