Cleaning the furniture When re-treating the furniture, it is essential that it is first cleaned to remove any dirt. Use a scrubbing brush and warm soapy water. When completely dry, lightly sand the furniture paying particular attention to any weathered areas. The furniture cleaner we sell can be used to assist the cleaning process. To make using your patio furniture an all year round possibility we have an extensive range of garden heaters and garden parasols.
When completely clean and free from weathered areas and detritus, the furniture can then be re-treated following the procedure described above. We hope whichever course of action you choose your furniture gives you many years of happy service.
Once built and weathered we do not advocate disassembly for storage, as this will affect long term strength and stability.
Delivery Schedule
We aim to deliver your goods within 10 working days from receipt of your order (subject to stock availability).
Large Item Deliveries may take up to 15 working days and are undertaken by our own in-house carrier. We will arrange a mutually convenient time with you. In the event that an item is temporarily out of stock, we will advise you accordingly and provide an estimated delivery date.
Due to the handmade nature of Dorchester Painted Furniture there is a lead time of 8 weeks, again in most instances Dorchester furniture will arrive considerably quicker than 8 weeks however we feel it is only fair to inform our customers that there may be such a wait.
This classic combination of steel and granite bring together the best of durable materials for all year outdoor use. The frames have been hot-dip galvanised to give a high level of rust resistance, as well as having an antique-brass baked-on finish; being UV colour stable and protective against accidental damage.
Highly polished granite tops complement the steel, being a durable igneous rock; it is the ideal choice for outdoor use due to its low porosity and high resistance to frost. A range of elegant stackable chairs of similar resilience to the tables completes the range.
